Kids rooms not only offer unique furnishing challenges, but their (usually) smaller size also calls for more space-efficient, multi-purpose solutions. In other words, if you're going to be an interior decorator in Toyland, you'd better know a thing or two about toy storage furniture. Welcome to the iToyBoxes.com Toyland Interior Decorating School.

Toy storage benches are double-duty, space-efficient furniture pieces that combine playtime seating with ample storage. A toy storage bench with bins offers more organization options than box-style benches, thanks to wood or canvas storage bins that can separately house different types of toys—a good choice if three children are sharing a single storage piece.
In small bedrooms short on floor space, tall and slender toy furniture such as children's bookcases and storage towers may be your best option. Though our shelf-style storage does include many large bookcases, our themed kids bookcases offer smaller, decor-friendly designs with manageable dimensions (e.g. widths and lengths of 12 to 18 inches). If open shelves would be problematic, consider toy storage towers with bins.
In kids rooms with ample floor space, large wall storage units are often the most efficient toy storage option. Wall toy storage units that combine open cubbies and sliding drawers are excellent for storing and organizing different types and sizes of toys. In playrooms and classrooms, toy storage cubbies that house 20 or 30 colored or transparent plastic toy bins would offer both accessibility and easily understood organization.
