i bought this desk just a little while ago and was very happy with its looks and how incredibly easy it was to assemble. it really only took 3 minutes. however, although my son isn't using it all that often it already has scratches on it. it's a childrens desk it should be much more sturdy. plus, the white counter isn't easy to clean and shows marks all the time. i'm a little worried what the desk might look like in a year or two.

The desk was very easy to put together, in fact my 10-year old daughter helped out which made it fun for both of us. The design is quite ingenious in that it requires no hardware--all the pieces fit/slide together via slots and channels in all of the pieces. So it is like putting together a puzzle--only easier! My daughter and I got it up and running without any problems. Cleans up well with magic erase with not too much pressure. Simple and stylish for the bedroom. Large workspace for text books and notebooks all at once. Not enough storage space but we can manage since there is plenty of room for accessories.
